The seventh ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman in 2021. It is set to be the seventh ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The event was originally scheduled to take place in Australia from October 18 to November 15, 2020. However, owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced in July 2020 that the competition would be rescheduled until 2021. The ICC also declared that India would stage the 2021 tournament in August 2020, with Australia being chosen as the host for the next season in 2022. However, the ICC stated in June 2021 that the championship would be relocated to the United Arab Emirates due to rising worries about the COVID-19 pandemic scenario in India, as well as the possibility of a third wave of the pandemic in the nation. The competition is set to begin on October 17th, 2021, and conclude on November 14th, 2021. The tournament's initial matches were played at four venues in the UAE and Oman: Dubai International Stadium, Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium, The Sharjah Stadium, and the Oman Cricket Academy Ground.
