Dawlat Zadran is one of the most promising fast bowlers of Afghanistan cricket team. He is a right-arm pace bowlers and bowls at a good pace. His average bowling speed lies between 140 km/hr to 145 km/hr and is also a right-handed batsman. He was born on 19th March, 1988 in Khost province, Afghanistan. This 26-year old Afghan pacer bowled his fastest at a speed of 148 km/hr against Canada.
Zadran is also known as Dawlat Zadran among his fans and teammates. His debut as a member of the List A team occurred against Pakistan A on May 25, 2011. It was the first time since 2009 when any team went to Pakistan for playing. In 2009, an attack on the Sri Lankan team ensured that no team went to Pakistan for any ODI or Test Series. The Afghan pacer took 6 wickets at an average of 28.83 in the unofficial 3 ODIs against Pakistan A. His best figures in the series were 3/45.
After the successful run at Pakistan, Zadran made his First Class debut against Canada on August 2, 2011. The ICC International Cup was a game changer for him as he got the change to wear the cap for the national team soon after this tournament. It was soon followed by the One Day Intercontinental Debut against Canada at the Intercontinental Cup ODI series. The dynamic pacer wore his 1st T20 International cap in 2012 against Netherlands at Dubai. Coincidentally, he made his T20 debut one day before the T20I match against Papua New Guinea at Dubai.
