Dwayne Bravo is an all-rounder of West Indies. He gives his contribution to his side with the bat and with the ball as well. Currently he is the skipper of West Indies. He plays first class cricket for Trinidad and Tobago and plays the game in all the three formats internationally. He has always been a trump card for West Indies and has given his contribution in many games. Bravo made his first class debut in 2002 against Barbados but he just scored 15 and 16 and didn’t show his talent with the ball. In 2003, he played outstandingly and took 6 wickets after conceding just 11 runs and this performance helped in describing him as an all-rounder. Bravo made his Test debut in 2004 when he got a chance to represents his side against England. He performed well with the bat and also with the ball. He scored 44 and 10 in both the innings and made 3 dismissals. In the whole series, his performance was impressive and finished the series with 16 wickets and 220 runs. In the same series, he succeeded in playing his best with the ball with the figures 6/55. He has played a total of 40 Test games and has scored nearly 2200 runs with an average of 32 including 3 tons and 13 fifties. When it comes to bowling domain, he has taken nearly 86 wickets at an average of 40. He has also taken 5 wickets twice in Test matches. He made his maiden ton of 107 against South Africa in 2005 and got engaged in controversy due to the commenting of Graeme Smith. The top score of Bravo is of 113 that he scored against Australia in 2005. Bravo played his first ODI game in 2004 against English team. He has given his contribution in 140 matches and has added more than 2300 runs in his score card with an average of 24. He has scored only one century and 8 half-centuries. He has also taken 160 wickets at an average of 33. His best score in ODI format is of 112 runs (not out) that he scored against England in ICC Champions Trophy 2006. Bravo was also included in West Indies squad for World Cup 2007 but he didn’t impress much with his performance scoring 130 runs at an average of 21 and took 13 wickets. Bravo also enrolled in T20 format in IPL season in 2008. He was picked up by Mumbai Indians and then he was chosen by Chennai Super Kings in 2011. In IPL seasons 2012 and 2013 his performance was superb and threatened the batsman by his bowling. He took 19 wickets in 2012 IPL and 32 wickets in 2013 IPL. He holds various records in cricket world including best bowling internationally and best bowling average.
