Kusal Janith Perera

Kusal Parera is a new face in Sri Lankan team who born in 1990 and has played ODI and T20 matches so far. He also plays domestic cricket for Wayamba cricket team. He is left-handed batsman who also represents his side being a wicket-keeper. Parera played his maiden game in 2013 when he played ODI match against Australia. He has given his contribution in 7 ODI games as yet and has added just 170 runs in his score card with an average of 55 including one half century (56) which is his best score also. He has taken 7 catches behind the stumps as yet. He has also T20 games and made his debut in 2013 against Australia. He has played 34 T20 games and has scored 450 runs with an average of 15 which also includes 2 fifties. He has taken 15 catches behind the stumps and has done 8 stumpings so far in T20 format. Currently, he is a member of Rajasthan Royals in IPL and has played some games for this team.

He became 3rd Sri Lankan cricketer to score a century in T20I after Mahela Jayawardene and Tillakaratne Dilshan. It took more than 14 years to score a century in T20I for Sri Lanka
