An all rounder who broke into the national side, that was given by the 19 ball half century against Tasmania which is the fastest half century in the Australia’s domestic history. His hard hitting made the bowlers to fear against him in all the three formats. And his first class hundred came in March 2011 which he scored brisk 103 against South Australia during Shelffield shield. Maxwell impressed the Hampshire team in friends life t20 in 2012 and subsequently earned the national call up for the Squad. He played for the national side against Afghanistan and Pakistan at UAE. By the impressive performance on the field he proved he could be the player who could turn the matches again. He was also picked for World T20 squad and put out a good performance for the team.
