David Miller

David Miller is a new face in South African team. A left-handed batsman born in 1989. Miller has given his contribution to his team in ODIs and T20s and apart from it, he also plays domestic cricket for Dolphins. Miller played his 1st first class match in 2007-08 and showed his talent with the bat after scoring a fifty. Miller made his international debut in 2010 when he played his first T20 game against West Indies and gave his much crucial role in South African’s win over West Indies by 1 run. He has played 12 T20 games so far and has added 220 runs in his score card with an average of 28. Currently, he is a member of Kings X1 Punjab for IPL tournaments. In IPL 2013, Miller played a scintillating knock of 101(not out) off just 38 deliveries against RCB and this innings was declared as the 3rd fastest IPL ton and this innings was set as his top score in T20 format as well. After 2 days of T20 debut, Miller represented South Africa for the first time in ODI format against West Indies and his innings of 23(not out) helped his side to win the game. He has given his contribution to South Africa in 20 ODIs and has added nearly 400 runs with an average of 32 including 3 half centuries. His top score in ODI format is of 67 runs.
