Basin Reserve Stadium is one of the oldest stadiums in New Zealand. Constructed in 1868 the Basin Reserve stadium is located in Wellington, New Zealand. The stadium is most commonly known as The Basin. The stadium is particularly used for test matches, however one day internationals and Twenty20 matches are also been played over there. The stadium was internationally inaugurated by the test match between New Zealand and England on January 24, 1930 and the first one day international played on this ground was between the same opponents on March 9, 1975. The stadium possesses of the capacity of 11,000 audiences and has two ends namely Vance Stand End and Scoreboard End.
