The Wankhede Stadium is a ground which is mostly used to host the cricket matches. The stadium is located at Mumbai, Maharashtra in India. The stadium is also known as Seshrao Krushnarao Wankhede Stadium but is most commonly known as Wankhede Stadium. The stadium was established in the year 1974 and ever since then is been owned by Mumbai Cricket Association. The stadium was designed by Shashi Prabhu and Associates architects.
The tenants of the stadium are Indian Cricket Team, Mumbai Cricket team and Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League.
The stadium consists of two bowling ends namely Garware Pavilion End and Tata End.
