MA Chidambaram Stadium

M.A. Chidambaram Stadium is a cricket stadium situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu in India. The stadium has been established in the year 1916. The stadium was designed by Natraj & Venkat Architects, Chennai/Hopkins Architects. The stadium consists of two bowling ends namely Anna Pavilion End and V Pattabhiraman Gate End. The stadium has been the venue for all three formats of cricket namely Test matches, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 matches. The stadium possesses a capacity of 55,000 audiences at a time. The stadium is been owned by Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. The stadium was previously known as Madras Cricket Club Ground or Chepauk Stadium.
