Docklands Stadium is one of the finest stadiums of Victoria (Australia), located in the Docklands region. Its construction started in the year 1997 and it took 3 years to complete the stadium with the overall cost of $460 million. The ground was inaugurated on 9th March 2000 with a purpose to host all kinds of sports. That is why it is also known as multipurpose ground which hosts a variety of games. It is a huge and beautifully designed stadium and hosts different kinds of games like rugby, soccer, football, cricket and other special events as well. The seating capacity of this ground is around 56, 347 people thus providing a lifetime opportunity to see your players performing before you. The design as well as the architecture of the stadium was handled by an experienced architect Daryl Jackson who worked excellently to come up with a unique idea that the ground even more attractive. This stadium is not only used to host the matches but some of the teams even use it as their home ground. These teams are North Melbourne, Carlton, Western Bulldogs and St Kilda. There is enough car parking space along with 1000 video seats, moveable seating arrangement and super screen feature too.
