Trent Bridge

Trent Bridge, being an international cricket ground is located in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England. This cricket ground has served to be the venue for many counties, one day international and test matches. It is twice that this stadium got the opportunity to serve as the final battleground of Twenty20 Cup. It was in the decade of the 1830s that Trent Bridge cricket ground hosted its first cricket match. The first test match ever to be played on this ground was between Australia and England in the year 1899. During the ICC World Twenty20 in 2009 the semi final between Pakistan and South Africa was played here. It was here that Sachin Tendulkar crossed the 11,000 run mark in July, 2007. In 1905, Bernard Bosanquet, who is responsible for developing googly, took 8/107 against Australia while playing for England. The highest test score by any number 11 batsman was made by Ashton Agar in 2013 at this stadium. This stadium finds its place in the list of the best cricket grounds to watch a match. It has 1.9 million pounds state of the art Fox Road stand that has been awarded for excellence in architecture. There is also the 27.2 million pounds Radcliffe Road Cricket Centre which adds up to its charm. There is also an aircraft-wing roof that was opened in the year 2002.
