The Big Bash League season 2021–22, often known as BBL 11, will be the eleventh edition of the league. The Big Bash League is an Australian white-collar franchise Twenty20 cricket competition created by Cricket Australia in 2011. For sponsorship purposes, it is also recognized as the KFC Big Bash League, and it is also abbreviated as Big Bash or BBL. Since its inception, the tournament has been sponsored by KFC, a fast-food chicken restaurant. Because the Big Bash League includes overseas players, it makes the sport more exciting and enjoyable.

The Big Bash League 2021-22 season will begin on December 5, with 61 total matches to be played over the course of one and a half months. The playoffs comprise five matches: an Eliminator, a Qualifier, a Knock-Out, a Challenger, and a Final. Unlike last year's version, which used a limited number of locations owing to Covid-19 limitations, this year's matches will have a normal home and away schedule.
There is a total number of 8 teams that will participate in the BBL 2021-22 season. The defending champions are the Sydney Sixers. Six of the eight clubs have won the championship at least once. Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers are two of the most successful teams, having won the tournament three times. All the BBL matches will be hosted by Australia. The competition will be held at fourteen different locations, including the return of Geelong and Coffs Harbour.
Cricket Australia revealed the tournament's complete schedule on July 14, 2021. Channel Seven will broadcast 45 of the 61 games, including all of the finals, while Fox Cricket and Kayo Sports will air all of the games.

Sydney Sixers
Sydney Sixers are one of the 8 professional franchises of T20 cricket that takes part in Australia's domestic Twenty20 cricket league, Big Bash League. Adelaide Strikers
Adelaide Strikers is another Cricket Australia T20 franchise that participates in domestic cricket tournaments. Adelaide Oval is the home ground of the Strikers. Travis Head will lead the team as a captain in 2021-22 BBL. Jason Gillespie will be the head coach. They have won the title only once in the year 2017-18.
Brisbane Heat
Chris Lynn is the captain of the Brisbane Heat and Wade Seccombe will guide the team as a head coach. The Gabba and The Metricon Stadium are their home stadiums. They were the winner of the BBL final for the first time in the second season.
Hobart Hurricanes
Matthew Wade will be the captain of the team and Adam Griffith will be seen as a head coach on the field. Blundstone Arena is a stadium where the Hobart Hurricanes play their home games. The Hurricanes have never been able to win the BBL title.
Melbourne Renegades
Aaron Finch will lead the team as a captain. David Saker will play the role of head coach for Melbourne Renegades. Docklands Stadium and GMHBA Stadium are their home grounds. They became BBL champions in the 2018-19 years.
Melbourne Stars
Glenn Maxwell is the captain of Melbourne Stars and David Hussey is the head coach. The team’s home ground is Melbourne Cricket Ground. They have been three-time Runner-Up but did not lift the BBL title yet.
Perth Scorchers
Their home stadium is Perth Stadium. Adam Voges is the head coach of the Scorchers. Ashton Turner is the captain of the Perth Scorchers. They have won the finals three times, in 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2016-17.
Sydney Thunder
Sydney Thunders has Trevor Bayliss as a head coach and its captain position is still vacant. Sydney Showground Stadium is their home ground. They have lifted the title once in 2015-16.
