Asian Games 2014 Schedule

This time the Asian Games are being played in South Korea. Apart from Athletics there will be many games that will be played in this Asian Olympics. Cricket is one such game which will see many cricket teams from Asian continent play against each other. this Asian Games Men’s Cricket Championship is divided to into few stages which will see the teams like China, South Korea, Maldives, Nepal, Malaysia and Kuwait fight against each other in group stages. 2 teams from each group will be going to the quarterfinal stages where they will meet the teams from Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. After the quarter final round the championship will proceed to Semi Final and final stage to decide the Asian Games Champion.

The 1st match of the tournament will be played on 27th September while the final of the tournament will be played on 3rd of October. All the matches of the championship will be played in the Yeonhui Cricket Ground in Incheon. All the matches in this tournament will be a 20 over game. the winner of the championship will be earning the gold medal for their nation. The Sri Lankans are firm favorites to win this championship.
