Lahiru Thirimanne, a new face in Sri Lankan cricket team. A left-handed batsman born in 1989. He also represents his side being a right-arm medium fast bowler. Internationally, Lahiru played his first Test match in 2011 against England but couldn’t play well and went back to the pavilion after scoring just 10 runs. He has played 10 Test games so far and has added 530 runs in his score card with an average of 33 including 1 century and 2 half centuries. He scored his first Test ton in 2013 against Bangladesh and played a knock of 155(not out) and made this score as his best score. When it comes to ODI format, he made his debut in 2010 against India.
