Subasinghe Mudiyanselage Ashan Priyanjan is a Sri Lankan allrounder. Priyanjan was born in Colombo on 14th August 1989. He has played for Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club, Ruhuna, Sri Lanka Under 19, Sri Lanka Cricket Development XI, Combined Provinces, Sri Lanka Under 20s School, Uva Next, Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club and Sri Lankan national team.
Priyanjan is an allrounder who bowls right arm offbreak and right hand batsman. He received his formal education at Nalanda College in Colombo. Priyanjan led the Under 19 cricket team in the 2008 ICC World Cup held in Malaysia. He was also the captain of the Sri Lankan Youth T20 squad in the SAF Games of 2010 held in Bangladesh. He was a part of the Under 19 Cricket team in the 2006 ICC Cricket World Cup. He was a part of the squad in Hong Kong Cricket Sixes of 2011, which was a 3 days long tournament in Kowloon.
His List A debut was on behalf of Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club against Badureliya Sports Club on 1st December 2007 at Colombo. Bloomfield won the match by 134 runs. His First Class debut was against Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic and he represented Tamil Union Cricket on 21st of November 2008. His One Day International debut was against Pakistan in 2013 at Abu Dhabi.
Priyanjan is a middle order batsman and a consistently growing cricketer. His debut innings of 74 runs against Pakistan was phenomenal. In the Asia Cup of 2014 Priyanjan was in theSri Lankan team.
