In the 1st match of the ODI series, England batted first and got an excellent start that helped them to reach a total of 498 runs in the end. England’s lower-order batter, Liam Livingstone contributed unbeaten 66 runs in 22 balls including the fastest half-century for his team.

2. Eoin Morgan

Eoin Morgan holds the 2nd position for creating the record of the fastest half-century in ODI for England. In 2018, England went to Australia where both teams faced each other for the 3rd ODI in Nottingham. England batted first and added a huge total of 481 runs on the scoreboard. Eoin Morgan was captain in that match and he contributed an impressive 67 runs in 30 balls only which included the 2nd fastest 50 in 21 balls for his team. 

3. Jonny Bairstow

The opening batter of England, Jonny Bairstow registered himself for achieving the 3rd fastest 50 in ODI for his team. He did this feat in 21 balls while performing against Ireland at Southampton on August 01, 2020. In the 2nd match of the 3 ODI series in England, Ireland got the chance to bat first and scored 212 for 9. In reply, Jonny Bairstow gave an excellent start to England by contributing 82 in 41 balls. This inning of Bairstow contained the record of 3rd fastest 50 for England in the ODI. 

4. Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler holds the 4th position for making the record of the fastest 50 in an ODI for England. This happened in the ODI match between England and Pakistan which was played at Nottingham on August 30, 2016. England displayed an excellent show by adding 444 runs on the scoreboard. Jonny Bairstow came at number 4 and played an outstanding inning of unbeaten 90 runs in 51 balls only. His contribution in that match included the record of 4th fastest 50 in 22 balls for England.
