During the Singer Cup final between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in Singapore on April 7, 1996, Pakistan batted first and was bowled out for a total of 215 runs in 48.3 overs. Sri Lanka batted first and scored 302 runs whereas England could make 215 runs and lost the match by 87 runs.
