In the 17th T20 of T20 World Cup 2010, both the batsmen tried well to achieve the target of 133 runs against New Zealand at Bridgetown on 8 May 2010 but could not get the triumph for their team and lost the match by just 1 run. Salman Butt played an incredible inning of unbeaten 67 runs in that match but did not get enough support from other batters.
- Asif Ali and Shoaib Malik (48* Runs in 2021)
The pair of Asif Ali and Shoaib Malik is at the number 2 position for adding a record partnership for the 6th wicket in T20 World Cup for Pakistan. Both the middle-order players made 48 unbeaten 48 runs in pairs and confirmed a victory against New Zealand in the 19th Match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 at Sharjah.
- Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal (47 Runs in 2012)
The pair of Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal holds the number 3 position for making the highest partnership for the 6th wicket in T20 World Cup for Pakistan. While playing against India in the 20th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2012, Pakistan batters struggled a lot from the beginning and no other batsmen could cross a milestone of 20 runs except Akmal and Malik, both contributed 47 runs for the 6th wicket that helped them to reach 128 total but lost the match by 8 wickets.
- Asif Ali and Shadab Khan (24* Runs in 2021)
The pair of Asif Ali and Shadab Khan is at the number 4 position for making the highest 6th wicket partnership in the T20 World Cup for Pakistan. It was the 24th match of the T20 World Cup 2021 against Afghanistan, where Afghani batters added a total of 147 runs in 20 overs which was comfortably achieved by the Pakistani batsmen in 19 overs.
- Abdul Razzaq and Shoaib Malik (18* Runs in 2009)
The pair of Adbul Razzaq and Shoaib Malik sitting at the number 5 position for adding a partnership of 6th wicket in T20 World Cup. While playing against Ireland in the 21st match of T20 World Cup 2009, Pakistan added 159 for 5 total on the scoreboard in which Razzaq and Mallik contributed 18 unbeaten runs for the 6th wicket. Pakistan won that match by 39 runs and Kamran Akmal was named Man of the Match for his 57 runs.
