The pair of Misbah-ul-Haq and Shoaib Malik holds the first position for making the highest 5th wicket partnership in the T20 World Cup for Pakistan. While chasing a target of 166 runs against Australia in the 18th match of the T20 World Cup 2007, Pakistan lost their 4 wickets at the score of 46 runs only, then the partnership of unbeaten 119 between Misbah-ul-Haq and Shoaib Malik brought back them into the game and thus successfully achieve the target and won the match by 6 wickets. Misbah-ul-Haq was named Man of the Match for his match-winning 66 runs and Shoaib Malik also contributed crucial 52 runs.
- Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal (61 Runs in 2010)
The 2nd highest partnership of 61 runs for the 5th wicket was scored by Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal against South Africa in the 21st match of T20 World Cup 2010 at Gros Islet. Pakistan did not get a good start and they were 69 for 4, but then Afridi and Akmal handled the situation and built up a partnership of 61 runs for the 5th wicket that helped them to win the match by 11 runs, and Umar Akmal was named as Man of the Match.

Asif Ali and Shoaib Malik added unbeaten 47 runs in pairs for the 5th wicket which is the 3rd highest in T20 World Cup for Pakistan. They achieved this feat while playing against Scotland in the 41st match of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 at Sharjah. Shoaib Malik struck unbeaten 54 runs very aggressively from just 18 balls that helped Pakistan to win the match by 72 runs, and thus Malik was named as Man of the Match for his match-winning innings.
- Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi (47 Runs in 2010)
The pair of Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi stands at the number 4 position for adding a record 5th wicket partnership of 47 runs against Australia in the 6th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2010. Pakistan batters struggled from the beginning while chasing a target of 182 runs, but Afridi and Misbah-ul-Haq tried to save the match but could not achieve the target and lost the match by 34 runs.
- Abdul Razzaq and Umar Akmal (44 Runs in 2010)
The pair of Abdul Razzaq and Umar Akmal is at the number 5th position for hitting the highest 5th wicket partnership in the T20 World Cup. In the 2nd semi final competition of T20 World Cup 2010, Umar Akmal who came out at number 3 position played with Razzaq and built up 44 runs in pair for the 5th wicket, Akmal struck unbeaten 56 runs from just 35 balls, but Pakistan could not save that match and lost by 3 wickets.
