McLean Park is a stadium in Napier, New Zealand. The major sports played here are rugby union and cricket. It is among ten proper stadiums of cricket in New Zealand. McLean Park is a ground of Global standards that includes the major outdoor stadium as well as ‘Rodney Green Centennial Events Centre’ which is an indoor stadium. CDCA (Central Districts Cricket Association) and Hawke's Bay Rugby Union are two home teams. It has the facility of floodlights to host day and night matches. The two main ends of this stadium are Embankment End and Centennial Stand End. The close proximity to the ‘International Date Line’ makes McLean Park most easterly cricket ground in the world. It has a turf pitch which is perfect for cricketing action. The total capacity of this stadium is 21,000. Till date, it has hosted total 5 test matches and 26 one day internationals. Along with this it has also hosted two rugby world cup matches in 1987 and 2011. Several of Maori games of New Zealand have also been held here.
