Shpageeza Cricket League is a tournament organized by Afghanistan Cricket board to promote cricket in youth. Shpageeza Cricket 2020 will be the 7th version of this T20 tournament, which will start at Kabul Cricket Stadium in the month of September. It will last for two weeks, where six teams will clash each other to win the championship. From 2014 this tournament is started, and till now, the board has successfully arranged all seasons. Each team here represents its respective province or area.
Shpageeza Cricket League 2020 Teams
The teams which will participate in this tournament are Amo Sharks, Speen Ghar Tigers, Band-e-Amir Dragons, Mis Ainak Knights, Kabul Eagles, and Boost Defenders. There will be 15 league matches, 1 eliminator, 1 qualifier, and 1 final in the tournament. Hence each team will play five matches, and top four teams on the point table will enter the semi-finals. Winners of both semi-finals will enter the final where the champion will be decided. The format of this championship is round-robin and playoffs.
In the teams here, there will be players from the national team as well as under19. The franchise can also have overseas as well as domestic players in their teams. Matches will be played in the morning and noon. All the matches will be played at the same venue. The tournament will start from 6 September and end on 16 September.

Shpageeza Cricket League Winners
This was the first season of the championship. The final match was played between the Mis Ainak Knights and Band-e-Amir Dragons where Mis Ainak Knights won by 14 runs
In this season, the final was played between Speen Ghar Tigers and Kabul Eagles. Speen Ghar Tigers won the final by 5 wickets when one ball was spared.
In the third version of this series Kabul Eagles, runner up for the previous series, proved their metal when they clashed with Mis Ainak Knights in final. Mis Ainak Knights were the winner of first season but could not defend the score of 139 and lost the final to Kabul Eagles.
It was the third time when Mis Ainak Knights had reached the final. In this series, it had to counter Band-e-Amir Dragons. Once again, this team lost in final as it could not reach the target of 158 runs in 20 overs. The team Band-e-Amir Dragons got the trophy, and once again, Mis Ainak Knights had to satisfy with runner up position only.
In this season, the tournament was not organized.
In the last series of this tournament, the final was played between Mis Ainak Knights and Band-e-Amir Dragons, where Mis Ainak Knights won the final by 4 wickets. The runner up team had scored 154, and Mis Ainak Knights made 155 runs when one ball was till spared. Hence the current champion is Mis Ainak Knights.
