The ICC has announced the dates for the final of the inaugural edition of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC). The final will be held from June 18 to June 22 with June 23 acting as a reserve day in Southampton, England.
India and New Zealand are the top two teams to qualify for the final of the championship. The Indian team has finished the league phase at the top position with 520 points followed by the New Zealand team with 420 points. Virat Kohli will lead the Indian team and Kane Williamson will handle the captaincy of the New Zealand team. Indian team is very strong and playing quality cricket with great confidence. The New Zealand team is also very balanced and they have both, well-settled bowling and batting. New Zealand team defeated the Indian team last time when both met on the knockout stage of ICC events in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
