Indian former all-round player, Yuvraj Singh holds the record of making the fastest 50 in the T20I for India. He did this feat in just 12 balls while playing against England at Durban in 2007. In the inaugural season of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, India and England met each other for the 21st group match. India got the chance to bat first where Yuvraj Singh came out to the middle at number 5th position and played an incredible innings of 58 runs including the six consecutive 6s in an over.
2. KL Rahul
KL Rahul is placed in the 2nd position for hitting the quickest 50 in a T20 international for India. He added this feat in just 18 balls while facing Scotland at the Stadium of Dubai (DSC) in 2021. During the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai, India and Scotland faced each other for the 37th match where KL Rahul struck 50 runs while chasing the target of 86 runs and got the victory for his team.
3. Suryakumar Yadav
Suryakumar Yadav, famed as the Sky, is sitting at the 3rd place for contributing the fastest 50 in T20I for India. He played this incredible innings in just 18 balls when he faced South Africa at Guwahati in 2022. During South Africa’s visit to India, both nations met each other for the 2nd T20I where India batted first and added a winning total of 237 runs. Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav played a vital role in that match by making 61 runs in just 22 balls.
4. Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir, the former Indian opener, is listed at the number 4th place for making the quickest fifty in T20I for India. He played this incredible innings in 19 balls only while performing against Sri Lanka at Nagpur in 2009. Sri Lanka came to India to play a T20 series where both nations met each other for the 1st T20I. While batting first Sri Lanka added 215 runs and when India came out to chase the target, Gambhir gave a good start and added 55 runs in 26 balls but could not get the victory for his team.

In the ICC T20 World Cup 2007, India and South Africa faced each other for the 2nd Semi final competition where Yuvraj Singh at number 4 played a match-winning innings of 70 runs in just 30 balls that helped India to win the match by 15 runs.
