The opening match of the
T20 challenge will take place between
Sunfoil Dolphins and The
Unlimited Titans on 5th January 2014. The venue where this match will be organized is Newlands, Cape Town and will begin at 10:00 (local time). As this stadium is the home ground of Sunfoil Dolphins, therefore a lot of supporters will turn out in large numbers and cheer up the players. This is definitely an advantage for the team as their confidence will rise and they will be able to play a better game. The audience will surely want the Sunfoil Dolphins to win this match.
Even the captain of the team, Daryn Smit will not compromise this time but make sure that every player contributes towards the match. This is the reason that they have planned their strategy as how they will proceed in the game and how each player of The Unlimited Titans will be targeted. The star players of this team are Cody Chetty who is a right handed batsman. His batting style is very different and once he gets settled on the field, it is quite difficult to bold him. IPL matches; therefore his experience will surely prove helpful in this series too. Similarly AB de Villiers is also a capable player and has played the IPL series. Hence their experience in IPL series can make a difference to their performance in the
RAM SLAM challenge. So this match can definitely turn amazing as Sunfoil have the benefit of their home ground and Titans have the advantage of the experienced players.
