Kyle John Abbott is a right-arm medium pace bowler of South Africa. He was born on June 18, 1987, at Empangeni. He has a great record in the first-class cricket as well as domestic cricket. He currently plays for the Dolphins and also Hampshire at the domestic level. He is well known for combing pace and swing together and bowling effectively. He has also played for South Africa A team, KwaZulu-Natal, Somerset 2nd XI and Kings XI Punjab in the past. He got his recognition by the Somerset CCC after playing for Clevedon Cricket Club, a season town club of England in 2007.
