Narayanganj
Osmani Stadium is one of the spacious cricket grounds in Bangladesh and located
in Dhaka. The stadium was established in the year 2006 with the first ODI match
being played in March 2006. The best thing about this stadium is its large
venue which can accommodate around 25,000 people. Since its establishment a
number of matches have been played here and the teams have been successful at
this stadium. The maintenance of the stadium as well as renovation is handled
by his Dhaka division with a number of changes being made from time to time. In
the coming year, the stadium has been considered as an alternative option to
host the T20 World Cup 2014 match in the year 2014. Narayanganj Osmani Stadium is
known for its excellent arrangements that are loved by the cricket fans. In order
to enjoy the match live, it is important that the stadium offers a clear view
so that the audience can have a great experience. The Dhaka Division has kept
this aspect in mind and made several changes that have made the stadium open to
the international matches as well. Till now only one test series has been hosted
at this stadium and that too in the year 2006.
