South Africa dominates Australia in the 1st T20 - A T20 match is always a thrilling match to watch out for and when it is a match between Australia and South Africa then this is a match worth witnessing. Over the past these two teams have produced some of the greatest fixtures in the world of cricket. The 1st match of the 3 match series between Australia and South Africa was played at the Adelaide Oval. In this match after winning the toss the home team decided to bat first.

Aaron Finch and Cameron White gave a quick start to the team scoring 33 runs for the 1st wicket in just 4 overs. Finch was the 1st one to go after scoring 14 runs. Later this momentum was lost by the team as they saw many wickets fall down pretty early. In just 10.2 overs the team was reduced to 67/4. Later Shane Watson and James Faulkner together stitched a good partnership to bring the ship back on track. They together took their team to a score of 124 in 17 overs. It was at this moment when Watson after scoring 47 runs lost his wicket. Faulkner continued his service scoring 41 runs for the team and remained unbeaten. The Australians managed to score 144 runs in 20 overs. Kyle Abbott managed to take 3 wickets in the match.

Reeza Hendricks after playing 3 balls went back losing his wicket without scoring a single run. This was one of the bad starts that the visitors would have wanted. Later Quinton de Kock and Rilee Rossouw together took their team to 129 in 15 overs. Rossouw after scoring 78 runs lost his wicket but he insured that his team had the momentum and could have won the match comfortably. The very next over Kock too followed losing his wicket after scoring 46 runs. The team was brought home safely by Jean Paul Duminy and David Miller. The South Africans won the 1st T20 with 6 balls remaining. Rossouw was named as the man of the match. South Africa now leads the series by 1-0.
