KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS has done it again as they got their 6th consistent win over ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE by 30 runs at their home ground Eden garden, Kolkata. Robin Uthappa (W) played a enhancing innings yet again to put up a colossal score of 195 runs on KKR’s board. Robin scored 81 runs in just 53 balls and Shakib Al Hasan continued his quick fire from the previous match as he supported Uthappa phenomenally scoring 60 runs in just 38 balls with the strike rate of 157.89. Yusuf Pathan played a decent short innings of 22 runs with the strike rate of 169.23 but unfortunately he got run out by Virat Kohli when he was looking good with his bat.

However there’s nothing much to talk about RCB’s bowling performance as they all were expensive but Mitchell Starc, Ashok Dinda and Abu Nechim shared 3 wickets equally.

While  chasing a big target of 195 runs RCB lost the wicket of a player whom they most needed in a high scoring match like this very early, obviously the player was Chris Gayle, he went to pavilion by just scoring 6 runs of 9 balls. Well, Yogesh Takawale (W) and Virat Kohli (C) tried to build up the innings of RCB after early blow, but guess what, KKR used their magician in the right time to clear up the any hope that RCB had in the tournament and the magician is of course Sunil Narine, he has just shown none was born with the variations which he have with ball. Narine claimed 4 wickets by just considering 20 runs in his allotted 4 overs. However Kohli and Takawale scored 38 runs of 31 balls and 45 runs of 36 balls respectively. Yuvraj Singh was also defeated by the spin wizard of KKR when he had just started the storm of sixes, he went to pavilion by scoring 22 runs in 12 balls.

That’s it, ROBIN UTHAPPA was given the MAN OF THE MATCH award for his another match winning batting display.
