Nepal Tastes Their First Victory In A Global Tournament
Nepal who debuted first time in a global tournament lost their first match to Bangladesh. This team is known as the most exciting team in the tier 2 of world cricket. In the second match of group Nepal faced Afghanistan. Nepal went into bat after losing the toss. The Nepal cricket team didn’t had a good start to the game but the captain ensured that the team posted a good score on the board. He scored 56 runs and played a role of an anchor in the game. Veswakar played a knock of 37 runs to ensure that the team posted 141 runs on the board at the end of 20 overs.

JK Mukhiya was the star bowler for Nepal who took 3 wickets giving away just 18 runs and for this performance he received the man of the match award.
