Dubai International Cricket Stadium
The Dubai International Cricket Stadium is one of the best cricket grounds of Dubai. It is also known as the DSC Cricket Stadium with its inauguration being in the year 2009. Apart from hosting the cricket matches, the stadium also hosts a number of other matches of various games. This stadium is a multipurpose ground which is open to all types of sports. Though Dubai has other two stadiums as well but this one is especially meant to host the cricket matches. The first ODI match was played between Australia and Pakistan in 2009. It is a good stadium with the seating capacity of 25,000 people. The layout of this stadium was presented by a famous architect Gerkan. His design was greatly admired by the government and the orders were issued for its construction. The Pakistan Cricket Board is associated with the maintenance of the ground so that the international matches can be scheduled without any problem. This cricket ground is known for its top quality floodlights that make it the best stadium for the day and night matches. Adequate arrangements of lights have been made so that the matches can be hosted properly. With the round roof design, this stadium looks very beautiful offering a clear view from all directions.
