Rajasthan Royals Captain : Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid received Padma Bhusan award from President of India. Announcement of the award was made in January, 2013.
Rahul Dravid will be leading Rajasthan Royals for IPL 6 with Shane Watson beside him.
Congrats Rahul Dravid. He really deserves it. Not too many people speak about  him in T-20 but he scores some useful runs for his team... I don't think Watson can bowl in this IPL which will be a little disappointing for RR if so...

@jeevan vas: I can assure you that if Watson plays for RR in IPL 6, he will bowl as well. He is one of the best all rounders currently around and RR make most of it. Now coming to Rahul Dravid, I am a great fan of his a great admirer as well but I do think that this format is less suited to him. He has the ability to score runs, running between the wickets is good, fileding is also ok. But at times when your body gives up, you need to let it go. Dravid is one of the hell lot player who won't let it go. That is good spirit but that must not let the team down. His dropping the catch of Warner almost cost them the game but Cooper saved them. After dropping the catch of Warner in the beginning of the match, he could not come back into the field, he was so tired. That says it completely. If he really wants to continue playing, he must change his approach. Just go out, score quick runs as much as he can. Come back and relax before coming out to filed.
That is all what i think.
Others might have different opinion as the game is really a long one and we will see the fitness level in this long tournament.

Rahul Dravid's performance is getting better match by match. Love to watch him play like that.

Rahul Dravid is indeed a legend and he has proved that if some one plays for the team, he can really contribute regardless of the age.
If you are performing well, you need to put your ego down and step aside.
Rahul Dravid knows this game better than anybody and he takes decision accordingly.
He has shuffled openers, himself as well as his bowlers in the tournament and the results have paid off excellently.

Hats off to this man. This man is not only a genius but a respectable personality as well. He has led a team into the playoff of 6th edition of IPL with his leadership skills. The team never looked a strong one if you see it on paper but again a complete effort has seen them through. Under Dravid captaincy, Rajasthan won all the game in Rajasthan this season and has surprised everyone with the decisions he has made. He has regularly shuffled his batsmen and bowlers and have left opponents by surprise.
There was an instance on the field during RR vs KKR where he was abused and drawn into fight of words with Gautam Gambhir and Bisla on the other side, but the man simply walked away laughing. This shows the calmness and respect he has for the game on field. He is an angry man to but he takes that out in his game and not on the players.
This makes him different from others.
Standing ovation for the man. He truly deserves it not only from all Indians but from entire world. He is the right person to coach Indian Team in future and  can say that with full confidence that he will take Indian cricket to another pek of glory under his reign.

Yesterday in a match against Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals have cleared their intention that they will leave no hopes unturned when it comes to winning IPL title.
Even after losing 4 wickets within few overs, Rajasthan did not hold. They thrashed Chennai Super Kings bowlers all over the park and scored 80 runs in just 6 overs.
If they had won the game within 16 overs, they would be sitting on top of the table, but now they are on the second spot just behind Chennai.
They have made it to the playoff clearly along with Chennai and Mumbai, Sunrisers and Bangalore are still in hunt for 3rd and 4th spot.
