That option is available only for editors. Any such posts will be removed.

@pankaj: it is good that the admin is looking into these matters himself/herself and removing the posts. For longer terms when huge number of replies will keep flowing, it will become difficult to keep the track of the same. So providing, delete option only to the person who posts it will help in long race and thereby reduce your effort and time as well. Just a suggestion.

@diwan, if we allow members to delete their posts, they may any time delete their entire contribution from this website or what happen if some body get the access of a user? Knowingly or unknowingly he can delete every thread and posts.. This is direct or indirect work for the team of cricketwa.com to keep the forum section clean. Members should only concentrate on contributing to the site.

@pankaj: I follow espncricinfo daily for Live Scorecard and player individual stats along with their personal information. What I was thinking was that Why can't the same thing be done in Cricketwa. I know it's not that easy because there are lot of players in the world and it takes a lot of time to write about all of them one by one and update the system. But that will really help in long term. I will tell you how. Once all the players details gets updated in Cricketwa, you can allow auto-suggest feature for players name when somebody post a new comment or a new thread. Example: I am writing something about Dhoni and as soon as I type "Dhoni", your system can suggest me to tag word Dhoni to that page of MS Dhoni (profile page) which is there in your system. I also know hell lot of effort is needed for this and giving suggestions/feedbacks are very easy. Just a FYI types. This feature isn't there in ESPN CRICINFO as well though they have players profile.

We are already working on this tag feature(enhanced version of your suggestion). Within few more days, you will see them working on Cricketwa.Com.  There is a option called "Add tag" on the top of each thread. At present users can only add tags which is coming in that Add tag box while typing anything(pre-existing tags). New tag can only be created by moderators. Regarding Live scorecard and player's individual stats, it will take more time. We are going slowly as funding is the main issue. We are startup and can only invest limited amount of money each month. Thanks for your suggestion. We are already working on it and hope to get them live soon.

Is there any way too find out only about CSK matches? I want to know when will only CSK matches be played and where but I don't get that option. I have to find that out one by one from long schedule of IPL 6. Please provide such option team wise as well in this forum.

@Skyshot, Thanks for your suggestion. We are working on put scorecard feature soon on cricketwa.com but that can only be updated after each innings. Now, regarding ball by ball updates, it may be implemented next year. If you have any other suggestions, please share. Thank you.

@pankaj: I have noticed it many a times that I write the complete post and when I click on submit post button, the page doesn't load and throws some page not found error. I understand that it might be due to some server related issue. Request you to kindly put a notice on the website (homepage) about any maintenance related work so that we are aware of it. This is because I write some long article and when it is not published, interest is lost and all the content put together properly gets lost.  This is sometimes irritating and hence this suggestion. Kindly consider this one, please.

Yes webmaster I have also faced this type of problem in past. Sometimes when error comes, and in order to retrieve my information back, I press back button. Although My written data is there, but some unusual code language is present there like etc. I think this problem related with the server of the site. Please do rectify the same.

@diwan, that might be the server problem and we can not handle that.. What we can do it, we can comeup with autosave feature in future (already in our to-do list) so you will never lose your data. @skyshot, Please don't write anything on MS Word and others (Except notepad) if you are compiling your posts there on those tools not here on cricketwa.  So, Always use notepad if you guys are writing long posts and then copy and paste it directly here. Don't copy any content from other sites and paste it here otherwise it will copy everything from that source including format, styles etc.

@pankaj: I was thinking that because this is a cricket forum, there are lots of stats associated. Why not allow the excel sheet to be pasted in this post box so that it is good and pleasant to eye when somebody reads the figures of the players. For example: Sachin 26 runs 52 balls 3 boundaries 0 sixes 50.0 strike rate R Jadeja 34 runs 17 balls 2 boundaries 3 sixes 200.00 strike rate This doesn't look good. If it was in a proper tabular format, it was good to read and would have made proper sense also. Hope, you will really like this suggestion. Note: An excel sheet can be copied and pasted in Microsoft Word as well. Kindly enable that feature here as well.

I have a very good suggestion here where a new contest can be started by Cricketwa. With Champions Trophy already knocking at the door and most of the team having already finalized the Squad, Cricketwa can organize a Fantasy League of it's own which will look like something very similar to IPL Fantasy League currently running. This will be a one time contest and the prize will be distributed to 1, 2 or 3 members based on choice of admin. This contest is likely to be a super hit and will also invite a lot of users to participate in the contest thereby bringing more registrations. Spreading of the news for this contest must be started at least 15 days before the Champions Trophy starts, so that more and more users can create their account before hand and choose their fantasy teams. For more information, go to IPL Fantasy League and get the details. If you can do it on your own (I mean all the rules), it will be great but if you need me to design the rules, I have a better one then what IPL Fantasy League uses. Do let me know as to what you think of this contest/Suggestion. I am ready to share details on this if you are interested as I have a good knowledge of this type of model.

It is allowed. You can share any website URL inside forum if it is highly related to the post you are creating. Don't share irrelevant urls just to promote them e.g. Don't promote your own website URLs. But you're not allowed to copy paste their content to our website..

Hello webmaster,  I have problem to say, and that is sometimes while posting the response, the page shows the error 404 and my all data is lost. Also sometimes if I write something in word and paste it in the forum box, its font’s changes to bad and it looks very odd. So please try to rectify these problems. Otherwise the site is awesome and looking good to me and I am hoping to see a good future for this site. And being a member of this, I am extremely happy that I am contributing at the times when this site is growing. One more thing is that, if the net connection is lost and you press the back button to get back your written data, the whole date then is surrounded by a very disturbing code and this code looks very odd. The worse thing is that this code gets published in the post and looks very bad. So please look in to this matter also as it is a devasting and make the whole post to go hay wire. Even after using notepad, this code is not lost, so I think there are some issues with the server. Till then I will search for more flaws and will tell you them shortly and post it here.

Regarding Data Loss, sometime it happens due to Server Issues which can not be controlled at present. Anyway, we will be moving to better servers in future so that this issue can be minimized. Coming back to Word Paste problem, It is universal that if you copy and paste something from MS Word in text editor it will also copy many hidden things which you can not see. So, it is advisable to use notepad to write your articles before posting it in Cricketwa.com so that you will have the backup too. So, in case of data loss (Issue 1) you can add it again. Regarding 3rd Issue, we are working on it. Kindly avoid the back button in practice as of now. And a big Thank You!! for helping and pointing out the issues.

Browser are google and UC. Login process is normal one.
