Netherlands is one of the teams participating in the ICC World Cup Qualifier round to determine the final two teams for the ICC World Cup 2023. Netherlands has taken part in the World Cup Qualifier 11 times, first joining in 1979. They achieved success by winning the World Cup Qualifier in 2001. In 1996, Netherlands reached the World Cup for the first time, and they qualified for the competition four times, but unfortunately, they were eliminated in the group stages on each occasion.
Netherlands is kept in Group A along with Nepal, West Indies, the United States, and Zimbabwe. The journey of Netherlands in the ICC World Cup Qualifier began with the first ODI against Zimbabwe on 20 June at Harare Sports Club, Harare, then they faced the United States in the 2nd ODI at Takashinga Cricket Club, Harare on 22 June. On 24 June, Netherlands will meet Nepal for the 3rd ODI at the same venue. Afterward, they will play their last match against West Indies at the same stadium on 26 June 2023.
