He took just 40 balls to score a century. He also holds the 2nd position for fastest 100 in ODI. He achieved this feat while performing against Sri Lanka in Sydney in the 32nd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

His record-making innings came while chasing a target of 384 runs against India in the 2nd ODI at Bengaluru in 2013.
