The boards of both Pakistan and South Africa have confirmed the tickets for Pakistan vs South Africa long series which also include two t20 International matches and this series will be played from October – November 2013 this year. In spite of the series being a home series in Pakistan, the matches are going to be played on neutral grounds in the UAE and the host cities are Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The team from South Africa will arrive at UAE on the 5th of Oct. They will play a three day warm up match from 8th Oct to the 10th Oct before the test series against Pakistan. It will be the city of Dubai who would be hosting the t20 series. Both the teams of Pakistan and South Africa will play their Ist t20 match of the series on Nov 13 in the beautiful city of Dubai.
It is going to be a very tough tour for both the teams and particularly so for South Africa. This is because Dubai has spin wickets which will be very helpful for the Pakistani team. Undoubtedly South Africa is a very strong test team in the world. It has managed to beat Pakistan team in Test and ODI series in the last tour at UAE. South Africa has the world strongest batting and bowling line up in test and ODI cricket. It also has the e world’s No 1 test and ODI batsman Hashim Amla who will be playing in this team. Hashim Amla is considered to be the best batsman in all formats of the game. Morni Morkle will also be part of the ODI and Test series. South Africa is considered to be a very dangerous team in every form of cricket.
Live action of the game can be seen at the Dubai Sports City this November in a series of matches. The T20 can be watched on the 13th and 15th of November. In the last of the t20 series Pakistan beat South Africa in the two T20 match series by 1-0.
South Africa last Test series which they played against Pakistan was at their home in February where they were drubbed 0-1 as Pakistan won the second game since the first game was washed out without a single ball bowled.
