Sikandar is a part of family with Indian native; he doesn’t have such a burning desire to get into national side for cricket. When he was at the age of 15 he started playing cricket as a past time but soon he learnt that he is quite good at it. He then moved to Zimbabwe in 2002 where his parents resided. He took part in the first class match in the year of 2007 and made just one half century in nine innings during his studies after that the attention was fully on cricket and had more fruitful time in the field with 635 runs at an average of 41 runs. With such a good performance he made the selectors eyes to look up on him and put him in the squad for the 2011 season series against Bangladesh. And he kept doing well in the in the limited over format, and had a future in Zimbabwe colours. He becomes the 116th player to represent the team in the ODI format. With the platform laid he has to do best with the dish that had been served to him.
