The first test between the Australian and Sri Lankan team would be played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium from 26th to 30th July 2016. It will be a wonderful encounter with both teams evenly matches however the visitors look strong on paper. Sri Lanka would be relying on the spinners to take wickets as the pitches would be on the slower side. The outfield at Pallekele is slow and stroke making would prove to be a difficult job. Initial swing suggests that the team taking early wickets can occupy the driver’s seat. Australian pace battery would be right one the money to take the wickets of the opposition.
