Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots Cricket Team

Representing the St Kitts the team St Kitts and Nevis Patriots was formed in the year 2015. This is the new team that is formed in this tournament. The idea of this franchise was proposed in the year 2013 but due to the lack of expansion in the tournament the idea was on hold. In the year 2015 the franchise took birth when the franchise from Antigua backed off. This decision was a boom for the people of St Kitts as they got a team from their home location. The captain for this team is yet to be decided while the job of coaching the team is given to Eric Simons. The team comprises mainly of the players coming from the domestic cricket of West Indies like most others.

The Warner Park Sporting Complex situated in St Kitts will be the home ground for this newly formed team. This stadium has a capacity of 10,000 people. This stadium is one of the good grounds in the country and was also a part of 2007 Cricket World Cup hosts. This ground was established in the year 2006 and thus this modern infrastructure will be a good place for cricket.
