Cricket fans are eagerly waiting to watch The Hundred, a thrilling 100-ball cricket contest that is jam-packed with excitement. Top-class cricketers and well-known figures from throughout the globe are involved in the Hundred. Every summer, ECB, the cricket governing body of England, organizes the Hundred Competition which comprises eight city-based squads throughout the course of five weeks. In the last season of The Hundred, Trent Rockets became the champion after defeating Manchester Originals by 2 wickets in the final competition and Adam Lyth became the Man of the Series. The first match of The Hundred will be played between Trent Rockets and Southern Brave on 1 August 2023 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
The third season of The Hundred will begin when Trent Rockets take on Southern Brave on August 1, 2023. Each team is made up of 15 players, up to four of whom must be international players. Additionally, there may be no exceeding two centrally signed England stars.
In this tournament, there is no concept of overs. A total of 100 legal deliveries will be bowled. A bowler can bowl 5 legal delivered before the next bowler takes charge but at the same time same bowler can bowl 10 continuous legal deliveries. A maximum of 20 legal balls per bowler is allowed.

Birmingham Phoenix
The Birmingham Phoenix is one of the eight teams that take part in The Hundred competition in England. Moeen Ali handles the captaincy of the Birmingham Phoenix under the guidance of Daniel Vettori as a head coach. Its home stadium is Edgbaston cricket ground which has a capacity of 25,000 people. Adam Milne, Kane Richardson, and Shadab Khan are the overseas players for Birmingham Phoenix.
London Spirit
Dan Lawrence is the skipper of the London Spirit and it is coached by an Australian cricket coach, Trevor Bayliss. London Spirit plays their home matches at the Lord's. Nathan Ellis, Mitchell Marsh, and Glenn Maxwell are the overseas players.
Manchester Originals
Jos Buttler is the current captain of the Manchester Originals whereas an Australian cricket coach Simon Katich will take charge as head coach. The team plays its home matches at Old Trafford cricket stadium which has a capacity of 25,000. Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Little Ashton, and Turner are included as overseas players.
Northern Superchargers
The captain of the Northern Superchargers is yet to be decided. James Foster will take the responsibility of being the head coach. The team plays its home matches at Headingley Stadium which has a capacity of 18,350. Michael Bracewell, Wayne Parnell, and David Wiese are added as the overseas players.
Oval Invincibles
Oval Invincibles is captained by Sam Billings whereas Tom Moody handles the responsibility of coaching. The Oval cricket ground with a capacity of 25,500 is the home ground of the Oval Invincibles. Ihsanullah, Heinrich Klaasen, and Sunil Narine are included as the overseas players.
Southern Brave
James Vince handles the captaincy of the Southern Brave and former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming will take charge as head coach. Ageas Bowl is the home ground of Southern Brave where they play their home matches. Finn Allen, Devon Conway, and Tim David are the overseas players in Southern Brave.
Trent Rockets
Lewis Gregory is the current skipper of the Trent Rockets and its coaching is handled by a former Zimbabwe cricketer Andy Flower. Trent Bridge with a capacity of 17,500 is the home stadium of Trent Rockets. Colin Munro, Rashid Khan, and Daniel Sams are the overseas players for Trent Rockets.
Welsh Fire
Michael Hussey will handle the coaching department of the Welsh Fire and its captain is yet to be announced. Haris Rauf, Glenn Phillips, and Shaheen Afridi come under the overseas players for Welsh Fire. Sophia Gardens with a capacity of 16,000 is the home ground of Welsh Fire.
