England and New Zealand cricket team will play an International Test series of 2 matches at England in June of 2021. The series will be very important for both teams as both are at the nearly same stage on ICC Test Championship points table. The Kiwi seam bowlers will enjoy bowling on England's grassy surface and will get advantage from the surface. Joe Root will be the captain of host England team and Kane Williamson will lead the visiting team New Zealand. The squad of both teams is not announced till now.
The 1st match of the series will be held on June 2-6, 2021 at Lord’s Cricket Ground, England. Both teams England and New Zealand are very stable and strong. Hence players from both sides will try to dominate over one another. England will have the advantage of playing at home and they will get good support from fans also. It has always been interesting to win the match at historic Lord’s ground. Kane Williamson will be the most important Kiwi batsman on the tour. This right-handed top-order batsman is in great form and if he continues his class in England, it will become easier for Kiwi team to win the series.
The 2nd or last Test match of the series will be played on June 10-14, 2021 at Edgbaston. This will be the last match of the series and can also turn into a series-deciding match. England and New Zealand, both teams have quality seam bowlers on their side and it will be difficult for batsmen to face the quality swing bowling under overcast conditions of England. The English captain Joe Root is in great form and he is currently England’s number one Test batsman. He will have to lead his team from front to win the series by his grand performance.
