There will be a One Day International series of 3 matches between Bangladesh and West Indies in January 2021. The Bangladesh Cricket Board will host the series and the series will be very interesting as both teams are strong and follows attacking cricket. Both, Bangladesh and West Indies, will give their best to win the series. The series will also influence ICC one day International rankings of both teams and hence it will be a crucial series for both teams. Kieron Pollard will lead the West Indian team and most probably Shakib-Al Hassan will be the captain of Bangladesh team. West Indian team is very strong and they have consistently played quality cricket so it will be challenging for Bangladesh to defeat West Indies.
Bangladesh will play at their home and it will be an advantage for home team. Tamim Iqbal will be the key batsman for host but the squad of both teams are not announced yet and hence it is difficult to say about any side.
The 1st match of the series will be held on January 20, 2021 at Sher-e-Bangla stadium. The ground is not very big and hence perfect for batting. The spin bowlers of both teams will be very important in this game. West Indian team has quality batsmen with big hitters. The Bangladeshi players have recently played their home league and it will help them to boost their confidence in this series.
The 2nd match of the series will be played on January 22, 2021 at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. The matches they win will decide their points in World Cup Qualifiers table. Therefore both teams will give their best to dominate in the series.
The 3rd or last match of the series will be held on January 25, 2021 at the same Sher-e-Bangla stadium. This match can also turn into a series deciding match.
