A T20 International series of 5 matches will be played between the two emerging teams in International cricket Malaysia and Hong Kong at Hong Kong. It will be a Hong Kong cricket team tour to Malaysia. All the 5 matches will be held on the same venue Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The captain name of Hong Kong team is not disclosed by the selectors yet but the Malaysian team will be captained by its top Batsman Ahmad Faiz. The series will help both the teams to stabilise and gain some confidence, motivation and learn to handle tough situation during the game.
The series is also very important as in both the countries there is a fresh beginning of cricket and this series will create interest amongst the supporters of both countries to play cricket in their local areas. It will also help to develop cricket in other emerging cricket countries. All the matches are in continuity and there is no day off between the matches except the last match of series.
The first match of series is on February 20 while the last match of series is on February 26. The 3rd and 4th match of series is on the continuous day which is little bit surprising. Both the teams will give their 100 percent to win the series and improve their international T20 stand. This series will definitely improve the performance of both the teams and also the T20 ranking of winning team.
