Weather plays a spoil sport in one-off T20 match - The Twenty 20 cricket is one of the most favored formats for a team which is not so strong. The non-test playing has surprised the world of cricket many a times in this shortest format of the cricket. In Bangladesh’s tour of West Indies both the teams were to play a one-off T20 match against each other. The team of Bangladesh wanted to make it a better tour with a win in this match while on the other hand West Indies a T20 specialist team looked to win another tour match.

The match started off with the Bangladesh side winning the toss and electing to bat first. In 4.4 overs of the game the visitors got off to a good start scoring 31 runs without losing a wicket. Tamim Iqbal scored 11 runs while Anamul Haque scored 19 runs. Just as the match was setting up perfectly the rains came down heavily forcing the umpires to call for the covers. The match was stopped due to heavy rain and which later resulted into the match being ended without a result. It was once again the rains that played as a spoil sport in a great cricketing tie. The One-off T20 match ended up in a draw as both the captains shared the trophy.
