The South Africa vs England ODI series is a 3-match series that will start on the early quarter of February 2020. The first match of the series is slated for February 4 while the last match is scheduled for February 9, 2020. It’s part of England cricket team’s tour to South Africa 2019-2020. The ODI series will start in just a few days after the South Africa versus England Test series that will conclude on January 28, 2020. The matches will be played across three major stadiums in South Africa, namely, Newlands Cricket Ground, Kingsmead Cricket Ground and Wanderers Stadium.
The English ODI cricket team will be led by Eoin Morgan while Faf du Plessis is most probably the captain of South African ODI cricket team. Both South Africa and England are two of the strongest teams of the cricketing world and we can expect a solid ODI series here. However, the South African team has been passing through a rocky phase lately and has not fared quite well in the Test series. On the other hand, the English team seems to be in a grand form after winning two Test matches. Although the ODI team will have different players than the Test team yet a win by the national team is always inspiring for the players.
We can assume to witness a power-packed performance here. While South Africa will be fighting to bring back its winning glory, England will strive to stick to its current winning form. However, South Africa will have an added advantage here as it’s going to be their home matches. Home crowd support is always a big deal for any team and South African fans will do their best to cheer up their teams to give their best shot. The early quarter of February is going to be a great time for all the cricket lovers worldwide.
