when is slpl 2013 starting?

I want to know the date when Sri lanka premier league ie SLPL 2013 is starting?
It may start in the first week of August 2013. Dates are not yet officially announced. You will bookmark the following page where we will update the SLPL 2013 schedule once it is out.

Just visited Sri Lanka Premier league official website http://www.slpl.lk/ and no new update or news regarding SLPL 2013 tournament. It seems there will be no Sri Lanka premier league this year. What you say?

Still there is no update about Sri Lanka Premier League 2013. But it seems very soon they will announce SLPL 2013 schedule because they are now very active on their official facebook page. Hope they will announce it soon.

Looking at the current schedule of the matches that will be played across the world, I don't see Srilanka Premier League starting any soon this year.
After IPL, it's Champions Trophy which is starting and followed by Ashes and some clashes between India and South Africa.
There is also Carribean League which is starting in July.
Cricket is surely taking a serious turn and so much of cricket will either make it go boom or it will blast.

I don't think so that in future or even at present every premier league can work. After all each team has a players from other countries and they hjave to play the ICC matches also.

ICC cannot change their schedule as per the leagues  In my view only those will survive who have popularity to attract the crowd and IPL is the only brand name right now. 

Let's see what happens. Every nation is coming with their own premier league and I don't think sop that, this will, encourage national players to quit their international schedules and play in these leagues.

May be next year, because this whole year is packed with various tournaments. Players have time left for the national games only, and they won’t go to any of the other leagues. So let’s see what happens next and I think so many cricket leagues are just creating confusion nothing else.

schedule is postponed and reschedule is officially not announced , most probably schedule takes place in august month, league consists only 24 matches its not long  league as ipl , slpl consist 7 teams and every team plays 3 league matches, all matches are conducted in sl and slpl sponsor is mahindra

Finally SLPL T20 2013 dates are announced. Sri Lanka Premier League 2013 is starting from August 10 to September 07, 2013. SLPL T20 schedule is yet to be decided. We will update this thread once Sri Lanka Premier League schedule is declared.
