Following is the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 Prize Money decided for Winner, Runner Up, and various positioned teams.

Winner of final $2,000,000 
Runner-up $1,000,000 
Third and fourth $400,000 each 
Third in the group $100,000 each

Looks like this amount of money which will be given to the winner of the champions trophy is either equal or more than the World Cup 2011 winning prize money.
Is it?
May be it is, because it is the last time that the Champions Trophy is being played and won't be ever played again.
6 teams will get the prize amount which in itself is too much of distributing money.
I am also distracted by the fact as to why Bangladesh is not playing in this Champions Trophy where they could have made an impact and they would have gained experience as well.
But fingers crossed for India as I want India to lift up this trophy.

i say that surely india gets $2,000,000 or else $1,000,000
because they goes for final for sure

This is huge money and I think whosover wins this, will boost the funding of their players and booard too. 

Over the years the prize money in the various trounament of cricket has increased to several folds. This can be attributted to the fact thtat now torunament gets lots of sponsers.
