Kevin Pietersen out of Champions Trophy 2013

Due to knee injury Kevin Pietersen has been ruled out of this year's ICC Champions Trophy 2013 which is a big blow for England Team. It will take time for him to recover fully from this injury

I can understand the reason behind dropping Kevin Pietersen from Champions Trophy by England Cricket Board.
ECB doesn't want to risk Ashes by playing him in the Champions Trophy and want to fully recover as well as practice hard for only Ashes.
Pietersen will play a major role in Ashes as he is the one who can score quick runs in any order and since Australian team too is under a re-building phase, if Pietersen clicks, he can take the game away from Australian in-experienced bowling attack.

Kevin Pietersen not playing in the Champions Trophy is actually a good news for other teams. He is a blazing batsmen who scores quick runs and tear the opposition apart. Though his absence will hurt England but I an happy that at least there is some relief for Indian bowlers.

They can smell a bit of air against England.

Champions Trophy is going to be fun this time.

Pietersen is quite good in its strokes. Not to forget the controversial short he played and for that ICC has to intervene between. 

He has always been the star attraction here and him not playing in Champions trophy will a huge set back. But there are plenty of matches ahead of him.

Oh poor switch hit, we will definitely miss you in this Champions Trophy as well as those wristy flicks on the leg sides after stepping out to the fast bowlers.
Kevin Pietersen is an amazing batsmen who can take the game out of the opposition when he gets going.
I can still remember the first series that Pietersen played against Australia and he thrashed all Australian bowlers and was adjourned Man of the series for 3 fifties and a century in 5 ODIs.
He is an amazing batsmen and great timer of the ball and I just wish that he gets recovered from his injuries soon and at least participate in Ashes series against Australia.
