Caribbean Premier League i.e. CPL T20 2013 is starting from July 29, 2013. CPL Teams and CPL 2013 schedule is yet to be decided.

Wow, I just went through the schedule and it is just amazing to know that now cricket will be played throughout the year it seems.
IPL end in May and Champions Trophy begins in June which goes for entire June. Then there will few series going on between some nations and again Carribean Premier League starts from end of July and last for one complete month that is till the end of August.
This is amazing and will bring out the best of the players. It is certainly a good move as there are lots of local players who do not get an opportunity to play for their country and hence they can play in these types of Leagues and contribute somehow or the other for cricket at least.
It will be great to see the fitness level of the players as well because of the schedule getting hectic and also will be fun to watch as to which and how many International players sign and which team they sign to.
What will be the bidding price for them or is there really any auction for them or will it be just the fixed price?
Many positives expected to come out of it and will await for further updates on this.

Let's see who will be the players that will join this league. Surely the glory of famous cricketer that belonged to this region will bring more player to play for this league.

Any news about the foreign players as to who all will be playing in this League.
As far as I know, I read only 4 International Players have signed for it and the last time I read about them was on Cricketwa itself.
Any further news about them.
More West Indians playing in the tournament will mean more fun as we will witness a lot of dance and innovative moves after the fall of each wicket or after the end of the match.
We also need to see that star players are evenly distributed so that composition of the tournament is maintained or else one team will become very strong and rest will be weakened.

Now CPL is another main event that is coming in the cricket calendar. But I don't think so that many famous players will join this game. Reason is that there are so many players who are already playing for the various leagues and there are other various important events coming in front of the various countries.

 

So league won't get much traffic and hence the craze for playing for this league is not that much as IPL does have. But you never know what can happen, may be the CPL can do better than IPL. Till then all fingers crossed. It will be exciting to see various fantastic players playing in the great grounds of carrieaban islands.
