While West Indies team is playing in India, they have other problems
to look for apart from the cricket also. West Indies players are demanding the
resignation of Wavell Hinds, who is currently the president of West Indies
Players Association also called as WIPA. As per the reports that are latest,
players have conflict related to their contract with the WIPA, and they are
unhappy the way of working related to Wavell Hinds.
While after lot considerations the team has decided to play
this ODI series, but players are saying that it should not be taken as the
matter has been resolved. As per the complain of players, the board did not
even answered the letter that team players wrote to the board on 4th
October.
Well such types of issues are also raised in the past. With World
Cup coming on the way, these type of issues certainly divert the attentions of
the players, and thus affects the performance of the team. Player wants other
members to also be removed who are having conflict with the interest of the players.
Meanwhile there is no official declaration regarding what is the final
understanding between the players and board.
