Pakistan & South Africa ODI Series 2013 - 1st ODI

South Africa who came second for playing had a very bad start. They lost Amla at just 12 runs. After that, Smith went off by scoring 12 runs. And South Africa was looking in trouble now. Then came the Black Horse of their team, JH Kallis, and took the responsibility of taking the team score forward. He scored 50 runs and remained on the pitch for long. AB de Villiers also disappointed his fan and got out early. JP Duminy to some extent helped the African side to chase the score, but now over and wickets were very less when he got out scoring 49 runs, none player in the bottom could actually play good innings. And hence their whole team got out on scoring 195 runs.

For Pakistan team, it is indeed a matter of confidence as they defeated the host country on their home ground. On the other South Africa next time needs to keep a check on their batting as this time it was not impressive. The openings batsman need to come out with some good partnership and then only the whole team can charge back. A pressure on the middle order is no where a good sign for the team, and that too when wicket is good for bowling. Next match between these two will played on November 27.
